and OVIGRIT in separate feeders; bathing in OviBad salt (1 tablespoon/5 litres of water) or OviBad liquid (2 tablespoons/5 litres of water) is also recommended. After each cleaning, sprinkle the floor and nests with Posypka Higieniczna Ovigor (disinfection). Spray the loft twice a week with OviAirFresh (at night).

A period of rest and calm for our pigeons; a period when their strength is restored before the new breeding and racing season. After the end of the season, there is some time to carry out the selection in your breeding and racing loft.

Racing pigeons in this period require a prudent diet. They should be under control, avoiding overfeeding or gaining too much weight. This period does not mean you do not have to administer minerals or supplements to both the feed and drinking bowls. Feed consumption in this period is subject to many fluctuations, which is affected by external temperatures: the colder it gets, the higher the feed consumption. The moulting season ends in mid-December. A certain stage will end for those who pursue winter brooding, as well as to those who devote this time to prepare pigeons to exhibitions, auctions and the end of the season. Wintertime is the period when a lot happens for fanciers.
